Mojo Reply

Date: 23 October 1996

Dear Dairn

Thank you very much for your letter. I don't know where your first letter disappeared to but we did not receive it.

It is always great to hear that our Mojo's are loved. We all love them here. You have the correct pronunciation, not Manuel or Svend!

Unfortunately, we are not 'Americanised' and do not have any baseball caps etc. which we can send you.

Thanks again for your letter and keep chewin' the Mojo's.

Regards.

Speaking of pronounciation...
How do you pronounce your name?

Is it D-air-in (like the stuff you breathe, plus an in at the end)?
D-urn (like the thing you put ashes in)? D-arn (like yarn)?

Haha, I had teachers who would call me darn.

It's "Dairn" (just like every other Darren or Daron or Darin out there). In fact, it's more phonetic. You don't go around saying, "Hi Dar-REN". You say, "Hi Darren" (but it sounds like Dairn... just let it flow off your lips. Yeah.)

But if you're from the south, it'll probably sound like "D-urn" (like the thing you put grandpa in).
